Mick Bowdler is a Nationally "A" Licensed Coach. Mick has held this license, which is the highest level that U.S.S.F offer, since 1992. Mick was born in England in 1956 where he played youth soccer. Mick played his first adult game at the age of 13. Mick spent 2 years at the age of 16 with the professional club Coventry City, which at that time played in the highest league in England. After deciding to further his academic career obtaining his masters degree in Industrial Ceramics Mick moved to the United States in 1981.
Mick say's if there is one thing I would say to young players it would be: "LEARN TO PLAY WITH PASSION"

Colin Williams hails from the industrial north west of England - Manchester United - Liverpool area. He claims he had his "foot on the ball", from the time he could walk! By trade, a mechanical and production engineer, but his love of "football" (American Soccer) has been a constant throughout his young career as MVP, Captain, or High School Scorer titles. He continued as an adult playing with his local town teams which were the Conference Leagues, in England for many years until immigrating to the Pittsburgh area, America, in 1982.
Colin was instrumental in the start up and development of 2 different high school team in the mid to late 1980's, acting as Head Coach for the Seneca Valley School District and closer to home, West Allegheny. His vast experience ranges from youth levels through Senior High School. While in the states he continued to play in the Veterans League, which is where he and Mick Bowdler became good friends. They were part of the "First ever" over 40 National Championship team in the Veteran's Cup Tournament in Bellingham, Washington in 1998.

Conor grew up in East Liverpool, Ohio were he originally met Mick Bowdler who was one of his first soccer coaches. Conor played at East Liverpool High School where he lettered all four years. He made OVAC first team both junior and senior year. Conor then played club soccer for S.O.I. and Mahoning Valley Premier. He attended and graduated from Hiram College where he played soccer all four years and lettered 3 years. Conor's major is in Business Management with a minor in Political Science. Conor is very passionate about the game of soccer and "looks forward to inspiring young kids to learn and love the game"!
Ben Amerio started his soccer career at the age of 9 in Northern California; Ben fell in love with the “beautiful game”. Playing in junior leagues through high school, where Ben became a 4 year starter on the varsity team and earning state titles as well as MVP and All-American status. After high school Ben played for several San Francisco Bay Area semi-pro and professional teams; again earning MVP statuses. Injury led to a brief retirement and a focus on education, graduating from the University of California at Berkeley.
Moving to Moon in the fall of 1998, Ben joined Mick and Colin on Moon’s Over-40 team (unfortunately, the year after they won the national title) earning the semi-finals of the Veterans Cup (USSA’s National Championships) the next 2 seasons. Also during this time the Moon Over-40’s won many league and tournament titles. Ben coached his high school boy’s soccer teams to conference titles. During Ben’s time in Moon he has coached U6 through U14 age groups both outdoor and indoor.

Tim Ewing, born and raised in Salem, Ohio started playing soccer at the early age of 5 for Salem Youth League. He continued playing with several different club teams throughout the Youngstown area which carried him into his playing career for Salem High School and for Son's of Italy a premier club in the Youngstown area. Tim was a 3 year letter winner at Salem with the last 2 years playing under Coach Bowdler. Tim's coaching career began immediately after high school in the early 90's as he worked with the local youth league to help start up of a club team for local kids giving them a place to play competitive soccer. Tim was then offered a Varsity Assistant job at his Alma Mater and coached there for the next 4 years before taking over and becoming the head coach of the program. Since then Tim has coached at Youngstown Cardinal Mooney as a varsity assistant and most recently with Salem again but with the girls program this time. Tim has coached high school teams to District and Regional Finals. Tim brings over 15 years of coaching soccer at the competitive club level and also at the High School Level to Keystone Soccer Academy. He has received his "E" Coaching License and plans on attending a National "C" coaching course. ”I love working with the youth in the area and teaching them the game that I love so much.”
Matt Freeman resides in East Liverpool with his wife, Danielle, and two daughters, Kaylee and Sydney. He is employed with the Salem City School District. He is a graduate of the University of Mount Union with a degree in Physical Education and Sports Management and Notre Dame College with a concentration in Elementary Education. Matt has been involved with soccer since 1994. He played at East Liverpool High School as a keeper/defender from 1994-1996 and went on to play at Mount Union as keeper/defensive midfielder from 1997-2000. Since 2002, he has coached at the high school level, serving as the assistant boys coach at Beaver Local (2002-03), head boys coach at East Liverpool (2004-06), assistant girls coach at Beaver Local (2009), and head boys coach at Salem (2010-present). He currently holds a USSF D coaching license and a NSCAA State Goalkeeping Diploma.
Travis Zeigler was born and raised in Salem, Ohio where he still resides with his wife and two kids. Travis began playing soccer at age six in the local youth league. He played his way through the youth league and then moved on to play 4 years at the high school level. There he was captain of his team and also received MVP honors two of his 4 years. Travis finished his playing career at the collegiate level playing at Youngstown State University. At age 24, he began coaching area youth in a number of the local youth leagues. He then became the Assistant Boys Coach at Salem High School where he held that position for 6 years. That led him to his current position as Head Girls Soccer Coach at Salem High School which he has done for the past 4 years. Travis has received his State “E” coaching license from fellow Keystone coach, Mick Bowdler. He plans to continue his licensing with plans to obtain his National “C”. “I want to make the most of this opportunity to coach with Keystone and continue to share my love and passion for the game.”
